GTA 6 Gameplay Is Leaking All Over the Internet Right Now

This situation has escalated significantly since we first published. Here's what's happened in the last 48 hours:
CyberLeek appears to have a full playable build of the game. A fifth video surfaced showing Jason flying a biplane over Vice City with panoramic views of Leonida. More tellingly, in one clip the leaker shot bullets into a wall to spell out "LEEK" — something that's only possible with live access to the game, not pre-recorded footage. This isn't just a handful of leaked clips anymore.
The threats are escalating. CyberLeek has threatened to release a 13-minute video they claim is the premiere meant for the August 27 Netflix reveal, and has hinted at leaking the game's ending. They're also running polls on their site asking followers what gameplay to leak next.
Take-Two's stock took a hit. The parent company lost roughly $2.83 billion in market value as shares dropped from $248 to below $233 following the leaks.
Rockstar still hasn't said a word publicly. Their social media accounts have been completely silent for 48+ hours. Their response so far has been limited to aggressive DMCA takedowns and — interestingly — running paid ads promoting the August 27 Netflix Extended Look. No official statement acknowledging the leaks.
Stop Killing Games publicly distanced themselves from CyberLeek. Despite the leaker's manifesto citing game preservation as a motivation, Stop Killing Games called the leaks "destructive" and "illegal," urged people not to send CyberLeek money (they're still pushing that memecoin), and said they feel for the Rockstar developers going through this again. They drew a hard line between legal advocacy and unauthorized access.
More gameplay details have emerged from the new footage:
A morality/karma system similar to Red Dead Redemption
Vehicle fuel gauges
A stealth indicator
Multiple options for stealing cars — smash the window or clone the key
Delay rumors are circulating but nothing has been confirmed. The November 19 release date still stands as of now.

If you've been anywhere near gaming Twitter, Reddit, or YouTube in the last 24 hours, you've probably already seen it — or at least heard about it. Multiple clips of what appears to be legitimate Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay have been dropping online courtesy of a group calling themselves "CyberLeek."
What's Out There
So far, at least four separate clips have surfaced:
Jason shooting hoops at a waterside house, complete with a "Focus" stat boost when he sinks a shot
Jason driving a 1970s-style El Camino knockoff (the Vapid Ganado) and getting into a street fight
A nighttime clip showing taser combat against security officers — including picking up a guard's hat and wearing it (very Red Dead Redemption II energy)
A knife combat clip with a cutscene that reportedly reads like the leakers taunting Rockstar directly
On top of the gameplay clips, an image of the full Leonida map leaked as well, showing five explorable counties with Vice Dale County (home of Vice City) being the most dense and detailed area.
Who's Behind It
The group, CyberLeek, is framing this as a protest against the all-digital future of gaming. Their stated grievances include digital-only releases (GTA 6's physical edition is literally just a code in a box), what they call "fake" single-player DLC, and publishers removing access to content people already paid for. All the leaked footage is watermarked with their branding and — because it's 2026 — they're also pushing a memecoin. Make of that what you will.
Is It Real?
Rockstar and Take-Two haven't said a word publicly. But they've been firing DMCA takedown notices at basically everyone who reposts the footage, which is about as close to a confirmation as you're going to get without an official statement.
Metadata analysis suggests the footage may actually be from a 2024 build, so what you're seeing might not reflect the final product launching November 19. For context, Rockstar's official "Extended Look" premieres on Netflix on August 27 — just over a week from now — so we'll get the real deal soon enough.

Search YouTube for "GTA 6 leaked gameplay CyberLeek" and you'll find mirrors people are re-uploading. Fair warning: these links have a shelf life. Rockstar's legal team is playing whack-a-mole right now, so anything up today might be gone by tonight. If you're reading this a day or two late, there's a decent chance most of it has been scrubbed.
