Fire me up, boys — I watched this year's Summer Game Fest 2026 and I'm getting excited! This is the full breakdown of everything shown during the livestream. I'll give you the quick and dirty on each title, what platforms you can find them on, release windows, and pricing where available. Let's get into it.
Resident Evil Veronica — Right off the rip, Capcom pops off with another one. This looks like it could carry that Requiem vibe, but we'll see when it drops in 2027. Expected on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. No pricing yet.
Cuphead (New Project from Studio MDHR) — WTF was that? Someone explain. Studio MDHR is apparently out of Canada, and whatever they showed has me confused. I need more info before I care.
Alien Isolation 2 — This looks sick. It's been 12 years since the original, so they've had plenty of time to cook. Coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. No release date locked in yet but all platforms confirmed.
Gen ATLAS — Interesting looking but I wasn't sure if I was watching a movie or a game. No gameplay shown leaves me with nothing but questions. What even is this?
Blood Message — Now THIS is what I'm talking about. This is my type of game and it looks incredible. Easily a highlight for me. I need to see more. No platform or date details yet but I'm locked in.
Stranger Than Heaven — All eyes on this one. Snoop Dogg? TUPAC? In a video game? I'm blown away and I need to play this immediately. The fact that they pulled this off has me genuinely hyped.
HAEX — Impressive looking. Not much else to say yet but visually it caught my attention.
Dead By Daylight 10 — I played this once and never got into it. Seems like a streamer game or a VTuber's wet dream. Not for me, but it exists.
Mortal Shell 2 — Cool looking souls-like sequel. Open beta is available right now if you want to get your hands on it.
SAND - Raiders of Sophie — What in the wild west is this? Looks okay, I guess. We'll see.
Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced — I've got a hard chub about this one. They actually listened. I was honestly giving up on gaming if they couldn't deliver something as good as the original Black Flag. If this MF plays as good as it looks, I'll be happy. But they can't just show me a fancy video anymore — I need to see it run. Expected on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
TMNT: The Last Ronin — Meh. We'll see.
Fortnite New Season — Piss off, don't care. This one is for the tablet kids of the 2000s.
Gundam Rogue Orbit — Looks good but I spotted some purple hair in the preview so we might have a woke score rating brewing on this one. Stay alert.
Eggstremely Hard Game — Oh no. Instant It Takes Two flashbacks. Co-op torture incoming.
Crossfire — Possibly another forced woke shooter, but the concept could be cool if they don't ruin it.
Control Resonant — I don't even know what's going on with this one. Supposedly coming in September 2026. We'll see.
Guild Wars 3 — Never played the first or second one, but here comes a third. MMO fans, this one's for you.
Star Wars Galactic Racer — I'll be getting my hands on this. It looks sick and I'm ready to race in a galaxy far, far away.
End of Abyss — Top-down-ish shooter that's kinda cool looking. Worth keeping an eye on.
Last Harbor — Should we try it? Someone convince me.
Virtua Fighter Crossroads — Um... okay. It exists.
Runescape Dragonwilds — Might have to take a look. Maybe.
Soulframe — Do we have any fans? Not my style at all.
Grounded 2 — On its way for those who enjoyed the first one. Obsidian cooking again.
Amsterdam 1666 — WTF, this kinda has me locked in. Looks cool but show me gameplay before I commit.
Saw Genesis — This series never dies, does it? Coming soon to torture your eyeballs again.
Lords of the Fallen 2 — Fans of the first are getting fed. That preview was jaw-dropping.
Star Wars Zero Company — Coming 2026. Squad-based Star Wars? I'm listening.
The Blood of Dawnwalker — Looks to be a vampire horror game. Could be interesting if they lean into the scare factor.
Among Us — Looks like slop. Put me to sleep.
Nintendo Switch Stuff — They've had some commercial-style videos. I don't know if they're even trying anymore.
Aion 2 — Not for me, but apparently someone asked for it.
Wuthering Waves x Cyberpunk Edgerunners — This collab is days away. Get on it if that's your thing.
Monster Hunter Wilds Ascendance — Could have some of you excited. Coming next year.
Swords of Legends — They showed us actual gameplay and that was so smart. I hate the cinematic cuts edited like a movie trailer. Just show me the damn game. More devs need to take notes.
Hot Wheels — I don't know how I feel about it, but you're getting it whether you want it or not.
Sonic Racing Crossworlds — More racing slop, but they're doing something with Godzilla so... maybe?
Attack on Titan 3 — Meh. Doesn't catch my eye.
Clutch — More racing but with a story. Doesn't seem too childish and it comes from the same folks making Forza content. Could be decent.
Chronicles Medieval — Spill all the blood. This has my full approval.
Sea and Remnants — That's a no from me.
Hitman World of Assassination — I am at a loss for words. Why are all these rappers making video game appearances? A rap superstar as a Muay Thai advocate target is absolutely crazy.
Palworld 1.0 — Nintendo must not have beat them up too bad in court because they're releasing the full version. Good for them.
The Wolf Among Us 2 — Not interested, but I'll mention it. It's got that Among Us social deduction vibe apparently.
Stellar Blade: Blood Rain — Nice looking gameplay. This franchise keeps delivering visually.
Street Fighter 6 — Been out for four years but they're still at it with new fighter additions. Capcom milking this one properly.
Final Fantasy 7 Revelation — It's not going to be the final anything, but here we are. The FF7 saga continues.
That's the full Summer Game Fest 2026 rundown. Some bangers, some trash, and a whole lot of "show me gameplay before I believe you." Have a great gaming summer, everyone — and don't forget to get outside once in a while.
This is so good
